Many years ago I saved a webpage by Justin Wong called “Justins Jokes Page” which was a large collection of jokes, quotes, quips, sayings and other humourous errata.

I’ve converted this into a fortune file for use with the Unix “fortune” utility. There are about 4,500 new fortunes here!
