Pavels Quake 2 Levels
Back in about 2006 a Russian chap by the name of Pavel Shangin contacted me by email about my levels. He quite enjoyed playing my levels and we had a bit of back and forth, with the help of an online translator about what he thought of the levels, what he liked and his plans to make his own levels. Soon after he started send me levels he made for testing and for my opinion. I must say, his levels were quite good for a beginner, neat and well built. He made quite a few levels in a short period of time, but never really distributed them.
We lost contact, I think the last thing I said to him was offering to host them on my site but there wasn’t much after that.
I’ve decided to continue to host them. He did not include .TXT files with them, so the levels are just here as is. They’re somewhat similar in style to the existing levels in Quake 2, but they are fun to play, short levels with decent gameplay.
The levels are below, with their simple name and a download link. Some of these levels may have exits that go directly to another.
