4D Sports Stunts Tracks
Back in the mid 1990s I played a game called Stunts , also known as 4D Sports Driving by Distinctive Software. The premise of the game was simple, drive your car around a track, perform certain stunts such as jumps, corkscrew, a loop and try to get the fastest time. The game had proper 3D polygon models and allowed you to replay your drive from various angles and save the replay for posterity. Your awesome crashes, flips and feats could be preserved. Sometimes the game physics would make the car rocket up into the stratosphere on a crash!
The game also featured a track editor, so you could make your own tracks, which I did! I’ve made the available, in the off chance someone may be interested. One track, “city” wasn’t built to be a serious track, but I was just trying to actually build a city you could drive around, with a bypass road and country roads.
Download the tracks with the link below. Screenshots from the game below show the basic track layout for each of the tracks I made.
